Court Appointed Special Advocates
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a non-profit organization that offers services for children coming from abusive or neglectful situations. The organization appoints an advocate to each case to speak on behalf of the child/children in court. Volunteers are recruited from the community and they go through an extensive training process in order to truly be the child's voice.
This year, Enactus is partnering with CASA to fill the various needs of the organization. In particular, Enactus is helping CASA increase awareness through social media, news programs, and other outlets. Going with the theme of Enactus, this project will educate the community about the services CASA offers.
